Free Application For Federal Student Aid
 
The month of January is the start of the Financial Aid Season for Chicago Public Schools students who will graduate in June of 2011. All seniors must apply for Free Application Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) before March 15, 2011. The FAFSA completion goal for Area 26 this year is set at 85%. To assist each of the Military Schools to reach the area goal CPS, has opened more Financial Aid Centers. http://www.chooseyourfuture.org and click on the on the Pay For College link.

Spring Break College Tours
 
The Office of Pathways to College and Careers(formally tthe Department of College and Career Preparation) sponsor a variety of tours to college campuses include: The Ivy League, Historically Black Colleges and Universities, The Big Ten and Illinois Colleges Hispanic Serving Institutions, United States Military Academy, United States Naval Academy, United States Coast Guard Academy and Norwich University. In addition, academies’ within Area 26 offer tours throughout the school year.
