On 26 February 2009 the Department of JROTC City Corps Staff gave their Command Briefing To Mr. Paul Bucha, Congressional Medal of Honor Recipient at the Pritzker Military Library. This briefing outlined the City Corps Staff's vision, goals and strategies to complete those goals for the School Year 2008-2009.

The Top 20 cadets in the city are promoted and commissioned into the City Corps Staff.
